Ethan is a designer and creative thinker who is madly curious. He lives in Connecticut and is a senior at the Hartford Art School.
Ethan is the author of Creative Grab Bag, published by HOW Books in 2009, about exploring your creativity and is a national board member with AIGA.
Experience
Ethan is the student group director on the AIGA Connecticut board. He has interned at co:lab, a design studio and branding company in Hartford, Connecticut. Ethan is a co-developer of Prototype, a program around the country that brings real world problems and young creatives together. He was also a designer at Be Playful, a collaborative multi-disciplinary design studio embracing the concept of play and working to change the way we learn. Ethan has worked with Behance as a remote intern focused on marketing and student outreach. He is the founder and curator of Synthesis, the official blog of the Hartford Art School. And as an Eagle Scout, he values community and leadership.
For Good
Ethan is a founding member of COMMON Hoops, created while attending Project M in partnership with COMMON, a two week program in Greensboro, Alabama in the summer of 2011. In September, 2011, COMMON Hoops received a Sappi Ideas That Matters grant. He has been part of Design Global Change, a creative think tank using design to make a difference around the world.
