Ethan Bodnar

Ethan Bodnar is a landscape designer and artist living in Oakland, California. Founder of Plantkind, an online plant shop making gardening accessible and debunking the myth of the green thumb.

Ethan’s helped design and install outdoor spaces with Small Spot Gardens and assisted with inventory management at East Bay Wilds Nursery.

Previously, Ethan developed and curated the design curriculum at Skillshare, was on the national board of AIGA, interned with co:lab and Behance, and made a book with HOW Books called Creative Grab Bag.

Ethan studied graphic design at the Hartford Art School, horticulture at Merritt College, social design with Project M, and is an Eagle Scout.
